Bio

Lenny Christopher is a photographer based out of Montgomery Center, Vermont.  Living in the mountains allows Lenny a vast arena for his photographic endeavors, focusing on skiing and landscapes.  These naturalistic ideals are also brought into the studio helping him find new and exciting ideas.

Some of his first images are of his friends jumping off the hill behind their house. From there, Lenny continued on learning about photography through high school and into college.

His first degree prepared him with a background of technical photographic skills at Mohawk Valley Community College. There he studied the commercial side of photography and the skills needed for a strong foundation.  He then studied at the University at Buffalo. There he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in photography.  During this time he studied fine art photography and learned how to think and become more creative with the meaning and use of images. These two ideas blended together and gave Lenny the fuel he needed to start producing exciting images.

Out of college he worked and studied with various photographers as an assistant and worked as an aerial photographer near his hometown of Syracuse, NY. Currently Lenny is starting his own photography business.  You can find Lenny shooting at his home mountain of Jay Peak or on location shooting advertising and editorial work.  He captures unique images where ever he travels. Lenny is currently assisting photographers Jim Westphalen and Geoff Fosbrook in Burlington, Vermont.
